20.02.2026 06:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0EXTREMELY unlikely, sir.
If one believes in objectivity of good/bad taste, then your thoughtful commentary on film, fashion, and many other topics proves the quality of yours.
If one believes taste is personal, defined by whatever makes *you* happy, then the argument is further moot.

But if you hazard a visit to the garret garden, be polite to the robins.
They remember things.
(end)
The wind was pushing the swing, and Robin was swinging with it, back and forth, a gentle little sway.
Perhaps that was why the bird wanted the swing in the first place, and was too eager for the fun to wait for me to wake up.

Whether I am Robin Friend or Robin Food we do not knowβ¦but yesterday the wind was up, singing in the trees, and I looked out at the same wooden swing to see a bright little spring Robin perched on the back in just the same place.

We may hope this is because I was involved in the rescue of one of their kind, when she found herself tangled in a bit of Christmas tree tinsel, hanging upside-down by the foot in a tree outside my window.
I called for a friend with a ladder and kept her company until it arrived.

Being familiar with birds of prey, I assumed the little bird believed sleeping bookmarkedone deadβ¦and possibly delicious.
It flew away as soon as I woke up.
However, when feeling better, out enjoying the air, I observed several robinsβ¦observing me.

So apparently I never told the full story of the Robin Sagaβ¦
Once upon a time, a little bookmarkedone was quite sick and fell asleep on the wood swing behind the garret, cradling an empty cup that once held teaβ¦
β¦and woke up to find a robin staring down from the back of the swing.

Itβs an experience, to be sure. XD

I feel like the Lay of the Volsungs is a rite of passage for mythology nerds and anyone else will be...confused and possibly traumatized.
...I love it.

I know a lot of people need help right now. I know all of them are somebody's friend.
Just do what you can, as often as you can. Help whomever you're able in the ways you're able. Every kindness counts.
Thank you, gentlecreatures!
May I humbly suggest a short story? :D

She slid a note across the counter to the tailor, refusing to make eye contact. Would they refuse her order?
The tailor unfolded the paper, raising an eyebrow before nodding. "I see. What kind of pockets?"
She looked up, eyes bright with longing. "All of them."
YES :D

The cloak is thick and warm and wooly, the same grey as the cold winter landscape around me as I hike through steep drifts of snow. But the lining is threaded with warm-colored scraps and golden thread, a secret map home.
How wonderful to discover there are genres out there even the most voracious readers haven't tapped into! :)
17.02.2026 05:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Oh, wow! Yes, I know Sekulinβs book is a fantasy Western, but it was the first of its kind Iβd encountered. I didnβt know there were other books in the same unique category. Sounds like your list will be very useful for readers!

Prepare yourself for award-winning author Spencer Sekulinβs debut novel, a redemptive fantasy Western packed with dramatic gunfights, family bonds, blood sorcery, unexpected friendships, and marigolds.
Definitely one of my most anticipated books of 2026.

Answering interview questions turns out to be a lot harder than writing them!
But all the thank-yous to Beka for hosting celani moriβs very first interview and for the chance to talk about all the nerdy musical things. π₯°
