Sadly, letters won't work anymore. The ad association is under a consent decree - they can't pull ads based on a station's content. In a normal world that would be unlawful, but it hasn't been challenged. All you can do now is just refuse to watch Sinclair stations.

This isn't just old fashioned either, it's simply the physical reality of the world.

You can send a million emails, and they all go into a big inbox and can be ignored.

But imagine a thousand physical letters showing up. That's bags and bags of mail.

Suddenly, you've created a memorable event.

One point I would add:
When you write a letter to complain, don't do it electronically. Corporations do not care about those, at all.

Write an actual letter, and send it in the mail, with a stamp.

One physical letter is like a MILLION electronic comments. Getting physical mail FREAKS THEM OUT.

Well, there it is. Sinclair is digging in for a fight, so please help push back -- find stations in your area, watch their local news to see what ads they run, then write those advertisers to tell them you're boycotting as long as they're on a Sinclair station.
