That’s the one I attended, and also just before my oldest was born! May 2016. I met so many of my current friends there.

It just occurred to me that I literally became the meme this year.

Well it was the LAST RailsConf, and I don't want to know the median age of the attendees.

This is why when @timriley.info asked if @honeybadger.io would be a founding patron of the @hanamirb.org project, I said please take my money.

OTW home from Railsconf and came across this from @timriley.info about @hanamirb.org. After a week of conversations around being inclusive DESPITE a Certain Someone, Hanami is a community I am super excited about!

I still love Rails, but I agree:
“A healthy future for Ruby is a more diverse one.”

That’s a wrap, #RailsConf. The friendships I’ve formed these past 16 years in Ruby mean the world to me.
