On the other hand, Soudal Quick Step should go back to their fundamentals and create a classic-oriented squad. Freeing Landa is going to be an option in doing so.

06.08.2025 10:59 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It looks like Red Bull create a super team along with Evenepoel, Lipowitz and Roglic in case he stays. I wonder whether Remco will spend more time in the Classic or mainly focus on the Grand Tours. Now that he has a strong team around him, no excuse will be valid.
06.08.2025 10:54 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Of course not.
Ferrari screwed their shot as always.
WOW!!!
NORRIS SURVIVED. This win is probably the best one of his career. He kept his position so hard with the older tyres. McLaren drew a perfect strategy for him.
Piastri must be disappointed. He couldโve widened the gap in DC.
1 stop strategy prevailed today
Good drive by Bortoleto and Alonso.
Another unrealistic day?
Why not?
He became so quickly one of my favourite cyclists when I started to watch cycling.
In early 2010s, he helped a lot Contador in the Grand Tours and now, heโs helping Pogacar at the end of his career.
He was so strong in the mountains in his prime.
Johannessen: He will probably join a big time and can be a valuable domestique.
Vauquelin: GC potential but needs to avoid the pressure of French media.
Roglic: Donโt go Vuelta please.
Healy: Peopleโs champion. He should keep his attacking spirit.
Jegat: Very active all Tour.
Pogacar: Out of this world. Heโs HC.
Vingegaard: Best climber in the world.
Lipowitz: Deserves a team around him. He is going to win a grand tour.
Onley: He will end up in INEOS one day. Big potential like Lipowitz.
Gall: Solid diesel climber. New Haimar Zubeldia.
LOVE ITTTTT!!
Montmartre will never be forgotten. Tour de France should consider Montmartre every year.
Lawson and Bortoleto had really nice race today. They are improving a lot.
Both spent some bad times in their teams but managed to outplay their teammates today.
Gasly also took a point which Alpine desperately needed.
Hamilton is 100% the driver of the day. Other drivers should examine how he brought pace in the first stint with the intermediate tyres. The car also looks good as LEC completed the podium ahead of VER.
Have we seen Russel today?
Albon deserves all the credits today as he kept HAM behind all race.
Piastri wins the Belgian GP! Another monumental GP win for the Aussie. He ended the NOR winning streak.
Norris must be furious about what happened during the first few laps and slipped the chance to close the gap in the championship. Still, the margins split these two.
Superb weekend for McLaren.
Arensman and OโConnor took advantage of Pogacar not being motivated to win the stage. Winning their stages, they committed the best strategy and were solid as well.
Vingegaard seemingly isnโt in the best shape to take down Pogacar. Criticising him is easy but not fair for me as Pogacar is flying.
As opposed to many analysts, I completely understand the Roglicโs strategy today. He wasnโt strong enough to compete with Pogacar and Vingegaard and tried the breakaway to get the stage win. I am sure that it isnโt important for him to finish 5 or 10 in GC. So, he could gamble during the stage.
25.07.2025 19:26 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It will be interesting to observe the possession percentage and the creativity of Arsenal. Both dropped last year with the presence of 4 CB and 2 holding DMs.
They landed Zubimendi which is a pass master. On the other hand, Gyokeres as a poacher will diminish the creativity at the attacking third.
Big move for Arsenal!
They are going to pay around 70Mโฌ including the add-ons for Gyokeres having some crazy goal numbers in Portugal.
Not completely convinced that he is going to be number one option there as Arteta loves playing with a false nine like Havertz instead of an old-school number 9.
Valentin Paret-Peintre!
Give him the Lรฉgion dโHonneur!
You gotta be kidding me!
Tim Wellens has supported Pogacar more than anyone has since TdF started.
Now, he won a stage from the breakaway. Itโs really weird for UAE to let Wellens leave Pogi. Apparently, they are fully confident that Tour is over.
Moreover, WTF did Alaphilippe do at the end?
Of course, every transfer is risky in terms of chemistry, performance etc. His price tag will also put him under immense pressure.
More importantly, even after the championship season, Liverpool started to rebuild the squad and spend money along with the signing of Wirtz and Ekitike.
Considering the other lucrative sales of Frankfurt like Kolo Muani, Haller and Jovic, getting a striker from there is such a big risk.
No doubt that Ekitike is a great potential and had a very good season in Germany last year after a disappointed one in PSG.
Unstoppable force!
18.07.2025 09:52 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I am just wondering how much water Sweeny squirted Ben Healy to cool him down. I know it was really hot in South France but anytime Healy was on the screen, Sweeny literally bathed him.
17.07.2025 20:12 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Another good story so far in Tour de France.
17.07.2025 19:59 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I have nothing to say (positive or negative) about the gesture which the other teams did to Pogacar.
One way or another, itโs going to be discussed a lot this week.
Visma team is legit. They try so many things to confuse and isolate Pogacar but heโs super strong and doesnโt need any teammate so far.
Happy for Healy as he is now rewarded with the stage win and the yellow jersey in this Tour. The Irishman has been very combative for the last 10 days.
Phenomenal match for Sinner.
I regarded Sinner as the favourite before the final. So, the result didnโt surprise me.
Nevertheless, it was a great win for the Italian. He gets his revenge against Alcaraz and ends the losing streak.
This matchup always offers everything about the tennis.
A very nice sunday action in Tour de France.
Thank you Mathieu van der Poel for making today pleasant!
I am not a big fan of her but sheโs the queen of bagel sets for sure.
12.07.2025 17:32 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Itโs a very mature and sincere statements by Djokovic.
Itโs not easy to admit all that for a champion like him. I really love seeing him appreciate the others and embrace the reality.
Kevin Vauquelin is having a great first week in Tour de France. The Frenchman has been very active every time he can be and challenged the favourites. He showed some potential to be a GC rider.
Next year, He will probably join INEOS where he can fulfill this potential.
