On Friday, Nourish's @amyjoyford.bsky.social spent the day in community learning about #Haudenosaunee foods on the Grand River. Chef Aicha Smith-Belghaba, Head Chef at Esha's Eats, led a hands-on teaching including sweetgrass, berries, and the three sisters. 🍓

Unwashed juniper berries (and needles if you like) + half a lemon in a mason jar filled with non chlorinated water. Leave covered with cheesecloth for a month (give it a swirl daily) and then drain and drink. I sweetened with local honey and diluted a bit.
