The Gauke review gives Labour a chance to make a decisive change on the future of prisons, writes former drug czar Mike Trace.
Gauke's Sentencing Review aims to "end decades of failed prison policy. What he hasn’t done is set out detailed proposals for ground-level implementation of his recommendations – so the ball is now back in the court of the government," The Big Issue.
