a whole lot of classic sonic characters, some with official designs, some with fan designs, in a sheet of drawings. it covers from designs from before the first game, to charmy bee in 95

a second sheet of drawings, this one of characters from the modern era of sonic, IE from 98 onwards. inherently, it's all fan designs. It goes from prototype designs for characters in Sonic Adventure, to Sonic's Cyber transformation in Sonic Frontiers.

Post from Art Director Bill Robinson on LinkedIn saying: Welp, it finally happened. I was hired to work on a MAJOR live action Hollywood film (and I mean it’s one of the biggest anticipated films of the year). They needed a small animated sequence and wanted a character designer. I was handed a ChatGPT image and told “make it different”. I did - I spent hours finessing the design into something better and more specific for the character in the film. Waited a week for notes - then was told they got clearance from legal to use the original AI image instead. No need for any further work. This is what the director wanted. What are we doing as a society? What’s the endgame here? Replace every human until we are all homeless? I just don’t get it. If a major Hollywood film with a huge budget doesn’t see the need to work with real artists, is there any hope left?

Dude regularly works for Disney, DreamWorks, Netflix and CN so speculate away. But this sucks no matter which studio is doing it, and gross to think some major movie this year is running with a plagiarized image from ChatGPT.

If you really don´t want little kids to find your sexy pics, post them to a website where you can mark your art as Mature (DA, Pixiv, even Tapas) that way they would have to log in and provide a false verification to see it.

Now that Capcom has made its selection, I can post my proposal on other (better) sites than Twitter. There were some amazing entries; I'll take some time to decide who to vote for. My biggest regret isn't that I wasn't chosen, but that my proposal received very few views.
