We love robot yuri, but I think this is why Yeong and the broader treatment (and characterization) of Elster struck me as nothing short of unsettling in a deeply nuanced way - What does love mean between a copy of a copy and someone desperate for companionship?

Also realizing I got a wildly different read of this game and its characters than most people - To me the game is full of projection (of lovers onto another, of governments onto its people, of people onto machines, of dreams onto reality) a creeping dread that permeates everything

This is (ironically) why Nikke (an ostensibly gaccha shlock game) feels to me like it hits this kind of representation better than almost any other game outside the indie sphere

- art galleries benefit from more adjacent art galleries, cluster together to amplify reach/support

We decided to double up tonight and also watch Vs Mothra which absolutely had the sauce - I think Return is still my Heisei favorite so far, but Vs Mothra's lighter vibes were vvv fun

Lancer Tactics' next build is going to have some big improvements to the map editor, incl:
1. a "palette" picker for blocks/setpieces/doodads
2. eyedropper tool
3. hold shift to draw lines (pictured)
4. see preview of ramps before placing them
5. can mark tiles as off-limits (for interiors/hallways)

So when you guys do you daily calls today you should ask mastercard what illegal adult content they found on these content creation platforms. Tell them to make names. When they give you the runaround say "but what have you found that's illegal".

They won't because there was never an investigation
