The memorial with the wreath at the centre.

This photograph of the Titanic Engineers’ Memorial was taken soon after it was unveiled in April 1914, two years after the sinking. If you look closely you can see a White Star Line flag at the centre of the huge wreath that has been placed on the memorial.

The "Odeon" in Salisbury, England. Hosted in a grade I Listed building, built as Ye Halle of John Halle, a Tudor Gothic style building which was originally built around 1470. The auditorium (built in 1931) is in a Tudor style, with seating for 1,125 in the stalls and 550 in the circle. #cinema

Todays route from Rockbourne walked clockwise

This is not a footpath but a dried up riverbed which runs alongside the road through Rockbourne. In the past the road has been impassable due to flooding!

Todays walk was circular from Rockbourne on the Hampshire Wiltshire boarder. Started at 8.30 to beat the forecast heat buildup.

Try and get out walking every weekend at least. Perhaps increase over time the weight you carry. Use a step machine on those wet and windy days.

River Avon exceptional low.

Taken this morning. Have never seen the River Avon at Fordingbridge this low. Not even calf deep in places. I was standing on what normally is the river bank.

My local supermarket car park operates a one way system. There are signs on poles saying No Entry plus its painted on the tarmac plus one way arrows showing the route. Yet still people ignore them and enter the carpark via the exit to grab a parking space. Accident waiting to happen.

This is a popular watering hole for the ponies but none to be seen. Very little water here

This stream is very dry yet this plant is thriving. Has managed to find some moisture.

Despite the lack of rain there is still colour to be found in the New Forest.

Very pleasant 10.5m circular walk in Groverley Woods yesterday, part of the Wilton Estate owned by the Earl of Pembroke. Have walked part of the route previously but extended the route on this occasion. Saw several deer in the fields along with Buzzards and Red Kite in abundance.
