It’s almost like pretending that Democrats had the worst approval rating in history and simply ignoring this unmitigated dumpster fire was a bad strategy.

Interestingly, my township is the other direction... Our local Republican party imploded several years ago and hasn't mounted a single campaign for any township office since.
