I think the thing I miss the most, living where I am and in poverty, are art museums. Rich in inspiration. And the added perks of being a member make you feel fancy. Good excuse to dress nice, bring a friend, see some art, and if one encounters rich people you can throw peanuts at them or something.

Erotic horror (horror erotic?) has fascinated me for awhile. The two cross often enough in the works of Clive Barker, Ann Rice, and Nancy A. Collins. But could it work the same today? There is an entire galaxy of erotic wish fulfillment out there, but could parting the skin to get to red -

- indeed did. Difficult to find, he worked under the name Sheena Clayton, producing erotic fiction in the 70 -80s for a largely female audience. But he did write horror erotica with his Satan's Love Child (I think that title was thrust upon him). I'd love to find a copy somehow.

- plot of sometimes sympathetic but often not protagonists trying to follow their love/curiosity/greed/lusts as far as it can go in a dying world.

A strong stomach (or an open mind) is required. Sex and death are wed in a way only someone who worked on erotica could. And Brian -

- a 1000 years? Like completely amoral protagonists? Grave robbing as a fetish activity? Brian's got ya covered.

I came across his name at random, as all fine things do. He works from a Clark Ashton Smith style, so a very ironic (not the internet poisoned 'ironic' but the classical meaning) heavy-
