Hi! Have you had something high-protein today, drank a glass of water or gone outside? Many things are bad, but you still matter, and are someone worth taking care of. I know how hard you are trying. One thing at a time.

I really wanted cardamom chocolate chip cookies... so I made some! They are quite tasty, send your mice to fetch some!

Y'all, I have figured out why I don't bake regularly anymore.

Baking requires a lot of endurance that I no longer have.

Chronic illness sucks. It's hard to reconcile how much less energy and endurance I have on a good day vs how much I used to have.

Me: "Why don't I bake anymore? I used to bake all the time! I love baking!"

Me, at 4pm: "Time to start baking!"

Me, ~7pm: *hangry exhaustion tantrum while the dough's chilling* "I HATE BAKING!"

Me, ~830pm, eating fresh tasty cardamom chocolate cookies: "They're SO GOOD, but I'm SO TIRED 😭 "
