TFW you're writing a new To-Do List, can't find your old To-Do List, come here to complain about this, and then spot your old To-Do List while you're typing this.
Thank you for your moral support, dear reader! I wouldn't have found my old To-Do List without you!

The crows were, as always, very excited for their peanuts this morning! As was the horde of blue jays (which are corvids, too, and they have enchanting excited-to-eat songs)!
After everyone came by for their first peanuts, a Hello Crow hung around and said "H'llo! H'llo!"

18.01.2026 00:25 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Finished 'Death of the Author' by Nnedi Okorafor today! Loved the varied narrative structure (interviews, narrative, book-within-a-book), the posthumanist robots, and the struggling to thrive despite physical limitations and family-imposed guilt. This novel fiercely defies & challenges expectations.

Adorable small tan dog with long snout and triangular ears sleeping while curled up and mostly buried in a textured blue blanket. Only his head and part of his neck is visible, and his nose is not visible because he has tucked it into the blanket.
My dog loves being the coziest dog of all the dogs.

We publish unsettling bad time stories that straddle the horror, fantasy, and science fiction spectrum. But genre is made up so if you have a dark weird horrible story that could be a fit, send it in and let us worry about it.
No closing date, open indefinitely.
Thank you!!! (and Happy New Year!!!)

The contract is signed for #4 of my 4 recent translation sales!!!
My translation of "Above the Sand, Under the Skin" by @ramirosanchiz.bsky.social will be appearing in @translunartl.bsky.social in 2026!!!
