Mediocre man with exceptional taste. Always fighting to stay curious. I like long, slow, cathartic songs. Mostly an escapist wander.

This is Dumbo, Mela, Peaches, and Chiquis. They are a championship napping team. Their built-in sleep masks give them that competitive edge. 13/10 for all (TT: brokeboilopez)

SHAPIRO: OK, so you've spent your career creating television without Al, and I could imagine today you thinking, boy, I wish I had had that tool to solve those thorny problems...
SIMON: What?
SHAPIRO: ...Or saying...
SIMON: You imagine that?
SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over.
SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this.
SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.

This and the prior piece (with the Bastian quotes) are excellent complements to the numbers-driven previews so many of us are deep into right now. Excellent and timely pieces.

Curious the smallest amount of time that passed between his time on stage in this production and shooting scenes for the cinematic classic Men At Work which was approximately March 1989.

Cowboy Junkies.
One-hit Wonder band Len was always noted for the brother/sister thing.
Most famous one is probably the White Stripes. πŸ‘€

I swear there was a rash of semi-popular family bands that crossed over from other genres in the late 80s, early 90s.

Break free of this idea that you need to prep for movies and just go see it. Be excited to see it. Let it be its own experience.

That way of talking cuts both ways to me. Sometimes a legitimate shorthand that helps the conversation. More often an obscuring force that limits the ability to compare players and to let new fans in the door. 4% more goals than expected might not scream MICAH but it is clear and useful.

Top 10 Player Seasons by Franchise in the New Era (2021-25): Dallas
