i just want to live on my terms

ive really never had a moment of rest since then...the path ive walked has been nonstop and shows no signs of stopping any time soon...another decade perhaps? will i make it that far? will time allow it? what more will i lose before then?

thinking about the early years...just an arrogant and rowdy kid with dreams...i miss that time.

Advice I would give to my young self: appreciate the love you already have. It's ok if there is not one person who is the embodiment of love in your life. We can give and receive affection, commitment, and physical touch in many ways, it may just take a little planning and creativity.

And there are many movies that have been worthwhile. And meaningful to me. It's probably a question of energy, at the moment. Novelty and challenge vs. escape.

Cinema is one of the things that stopped me from ending my own life growing up. It has always grabbed me and taken me away from the horrors in ways that other media couldnt. Shelter of sorts.
