I live in The Philippines. There are a lot of American Retirees living here too. The Majority seems to be #MAGA. Most are male and have an, often young, Filipino girlfriends or wife’s.

Hä? I don’t get it. Isn’t MAGA opposing immigration? And people from other cultures/races?

A baby Tuko on exploration trip yesterday night. We have 5 of them, a whole family, in the house. Unfortunately they become endangered because there is a market for them as ingredient for Chinese medicine.

Joined the Mariposa Dive Shop Team for a cleanup dive to get rid of plastic bags dropped by fishermen in a reef. They threaten turtles, that lay their eggs on the island. The turtles eat the bags thinking they are sea grass.

One more step towards getting rid of META. I deleted my contents on Instagram except for some posts about where I can be found now. I’ll keep it hibernated for a while before deleting it completely.

Congrats, I am trying to do the same. Instagram, WhatsApp and Threads are relatively easy. But the groups in Facebook and the Marketplace are not easy to replace. I wrote each of them and asked whether they have a mirror site somewhere else, except for a hitchhikers group none had.

This is a test. I am moving over from FB, IG, and Threads. Given the recent developments I am now very committed.
