we ate smith island cake, watched a couple of fight demos, and spent time together as people who knew and loved her, and there were so many more people who couldn’t make it but her impact in the community cannot be overstated. thanks for everything, linda.

some pics from the costumed memorial and celebration of life we held for my friend linda this past weekend. we did a death march, the mandalorian mercs presented a custom bucket they made for her, and her husband gave a eulogy while the sun set behind us.

went to the lunar new year festival in dc yesterday! we did the kids activities too lol it was nice to walk around looking at asian art and cultural booths and performances, and it made me emotional to see this kind of celebration in the midst of such troubling times for immigrants. we out here!!!

it’s not the worst film i’ve ever seen. it has moments. unfortunately, just as putting premium pepperoni on moldy pizza doesn’t make the pizza good, the moments don’t redeem it for me and i truly WILL die mad about this movie

a surprise to nobody but it’s definitely tros. maybe i would’ve been less mad if i just saw it in a regular theater but the indignity of sitting in a room full of the ppl who made the film *in costume* while the character i’m dressed up as gets left behind for no reason…it does something to a person

they genuinely make me feel unwell. like
