I might be talking about of my butt with this but I know she loves King & I’ve had the timeline hopping thoughts ever since the TN alt timeline. King’s storytelling is known for having Easter eggs where all the books are connected & exist in the same universe and that is sooo Taylor coded to me

There’s themes of going back to “correct” timelines which makes me think of how it feels like she’s redoing 1989/rep/lover eras. Also there’s 12 “beams” that lead to the dark tower (basically the holder of all multiverses) & tloas being her 12th album could be important if this was her inspo

I don’t have a lot of specifics (I’m only partway through the series but read a lot of King) but I’ve been thinking she’s been heavily inspired by the dark tower series for a while especially with the alt time line she created with the TN calendar. Series is full of time jumping and alt universes

I like to think that in cancelled! When Taylor says “or took somebody’s man” she’s referring to her taking Travis from Ross
