Never forget that Norman Rockwell, debatably the most famous American artist to ever put brush to canvas, was not afraid to show the ugliness along with the good. Having his work/reputation sanitized and trimmed into marketable nostalgia is about American as it gets.

Also, social media is truly becoming a landscape of diminishing returns. Guard your energy and mental sanctity, friends!

Bluesky is like the orphan child in my social media rotation and I'm trying to be a little more active here...but I hate the idea of crossposting the same stuff across multiple platforms.
