Sometimes I really hate when I have to go to the store w/my husband. I go in for 2 things that could take me 10 minutes max. But he likes blind boxes & bags, so I always end up being here for 45-60 minutes 😭😭😭

House hunting sucks 🥺

Hubby & I are having a hard time agreeing on things, we are stressing each other out, & the two houses we loved & put offers on recently, didn't pan out. It's been a mess & our relationship is strained & idk how to fix it besides finally getting a house 😭

Religious people losing their minds over Pope Leo XIV's ice blessing is hilarious. If God created the Earth, created all things in nature, then ice & water are another of God's wondrous creations. Homes can be blessed; no one blinks. Earth is our home. Find something worth being indignant over 😂

I just finished reading the book. It's: The Cat Who Taught Zen by James Norbury. Mainly has pictures & short sections of wording per page.

Much like the book, today has been pleasant because of unexpected things happening to me, that I wasn't anticipating on a day that felt like it'd drag on. 3/?

I've never run the Book Club before. I've not interacted with the ladies beyond checking in and out their weekly books when they come for the program.

Today, they learned my name, I learned some of theirs, and one of them lent me her book to read, completely unprompted. 2/?

Today I hosted the Book Club program at my library. It's a regular group & the ladies that come every week basically run the show themselves. We, as staff, just pull up the titles they discuss on Goodreads so they can see the books and see the general rating from others. 1/?

I'm now addicted to Jurassic World Alive (JW Alive) courtesy of my husband. 😂😂😂😂

Full respect to my in-laws but umm....don't you know how I operate? I'm a List-Maker. I make tedious, thorough to-do lists, ahead of ANYTHING big I have to do. I'll be ok 😂

There's no family/couple bonding activity quite like suddenly having to change a tire. At least this one was in the garage & we weren't on the side of the road somewhere 😂

My mother treats me like I'm a major inconvenience, when she's the one who basically designed my life to be the way it is right now, specifically the way it's inconveniencing her...how ironic. Naturally I get all the emotional fallout of it, though.

Today I've realized I like wooden chimes far more than metal ones. 🙂 They just sound more pleasant & calming to me overall.

If there's one thing I really really hate, it's being rushed on big decisions. When my plate is full and I have a big life choice to make, the last thing I need is to be reminded of tight deadlines & told to essentially hurry it up when I still have an opportunity to get more time 😑

I forgot how intense of a book Animorphs is. I'm listening to the audiobook of book 1 & WOW. Talk about a dark kick-off to a series. 😅 I read it as a kid, but forgot about it's details over the years.

But instead my husband did things the Frozen 2 Kristoff way. We've been married 5 months, together for 10 years. My childhood/early adult home life generally left me feeling on edge a lot, w/a major guilty complex. But I feel like I'm healing w/the care I'm getting in my new era of life. 😭 4/4

I expected to feel so negative this evening, I was getting overwhelmed pretty quick with everything 3/?

Thankfully, not long after I got a second call & the time was totally different. I was expecting my husband to be irritated & for me to end up feeling guilty & miserable about things out of my control.

But no. He called back & it was just "what do you need? I'm getting off early." 2/?

I have a lot going on right now, some snowballing events changing up a lot very quickly.

It threw off some plans my husband and I have had for our home buying process this weekend. His initial reaction left me feeling worried & concerned about how this weekend/upcoming week would go.

One of the best things about longer drives is audiobook time. I get car sick if I read a book the usual way, but audiobooks have been an absolute game changer for me ❤️

It really brings a wholesome vibe to Gotham's bizarre dynamic & really shows Bruce's heart underneath the cowl
