Today I've realized I like wooden chimes far more than metal ones. 🙂 They just sound more pleasant & calming to me overall.

If there's one thing I really really hate, it's being rushed on big decisions. When my plate is full and I have a big life choice to make, the last thing I need is to be reminded of tight deadlines & told to essentially hurry it up when I still have an opportunity to get more time 😑

I forgot how intense of a book Animorphs is. I'm listening to the audiobook of book 1 & WOW. Talk about a dark kick-off to a series. 😅 I read it as a kid, but forgot about it's details over the years.

But instead my husband did things the Frozen 2 Kristoff way. We've been married 5 months, together for 10 years. My childhood/early adult home life generally left me feeling on edge a lot, w/a major guilty complex. But I feel like I'm healing w/the care I'm getting in my new era of life. 😭 4/4

"I'll pick you up from work when you get done. Do you need me to help you pack? I can take you shopping. Or do you just need dinner? Let me know what you need, we'll get it done."

I expected to feel so negative this evening, I was getting overwhelmed pretty quick with everything 3/?

Thankfully, not long after I got a second call & the time was totally different. I was expecting my husband to be irritated & for me to end up feeling guilty & miserable about things out of my control.

But no. He called back & it was just "what do you need? I'm getting off early." 2/?

I have a lot going on right now, some snowballing events changing up a lot very quickly.

It threw off some plans my husband and I have had for our home buying process this weekend. His initial reaction left me feeling worried & concerned about how this weekend/upcoming week would go.

One of the best things about longer drives is audiobook time. I get car sick if I read a book the usual way, but audiobooks have been an absolute game changer for me ❤️

One of my favorite moments of Batman: The Long Halloween is when Batman delivers Solomon Grundy a plate of Thanksgiving dinner.

It really brings a wholesome vibe to Gotham's bizarre dynamic & really shows Bruce's heart underneath the cowl

Whenever my husband and I buy a new TCG pack that we have never been into before....once he goes onto TCGPlayer, I know it's going to get immediately less fun 😂

As a kid I loved readathons at school. All I want right now is a readathon, but I still have one more day in the work week to get through, so I can't have one 😭

Going through random music for fun...I never knew Tammy Wynette was basically just "sad girl country". This album at least has been. Like....girl, kick him to the curb, don't waste your tears, and have some darn fun just being you for a quick spell 🙃

Finally reorganized my makeup drawer to be setup by oldest makeup first. That way I prioritize using up my older stuff before I start on my newer ones or actually buy anything new 🙂

Now to reorganize my sock drawer 😅

I never cease to amuse my sister, who had no idea that I follow the Merriam Webster Dictionary on socials until today, when I was randomly discussing their latest post on niche vs niche with her. I'm an unapologetically random B.A. in English Literature girly 😅

I just finished reading A Court of Wings and Ruin and now I have a headache from crying 🙃 oops #booksky

Cruella was super fun & I wish I'd watched it way sooner. I still have 5 live action Disney remakes left to watch on my checklist 🙂

I'm used to my parents/sister not being in the mood to watch movies or having a hard time scheduling w/my sister/husband to watch things. I'd started watching less movies.

Today my dog curled up on the couch & watched the new Snow White movie w/me 🥺 didn't get up or leave. She just chilled 💖🐶

My dragon-loving self wants to jump back in & finish the How to Train Your Dragon book series completely now 😅 Its been a decade since I read the first two books. Time for a reread & restart

Patron today asked my coworkers for a comic, but actually wanted PSEUDOSCIENCE BOOKS, because when I took her to the comics to figure things out, she told me "those are ALL anime, I already checked". 1/2

Today, my coworker asked: if we had to last 20 minutes in a fight w/an animal, which would it be - tiger, gorilla, hippo, or bear.

NOT picking gorilla. It's called going "apeshit" for a reason; I want no part of that 😂 I saw Planet of the Apes, respect Caesar, & want no part in starting that war.

Lychee flavored sparkling water has a very interesting flavor & I'm not yet sure what to make of it 😮

The librarian for a school I'm going to for outreach today does not know how to handle stress w/grace & professionalism. Seems stressed out & prone to anger when overwhelmed.

Can't help but think of her turning into an apple, like Wayside School 😂

Not looking forward to meeting her in person 🙃
