Dreams on PC would be amazing. It felt weird on the PS4 because the creator was so powerful. On the PC it would suit well as a simple game engine and make external exporting etc more feasible.

Dreams was cool but I think it was too robust for its own good. Creating stuff felt daunting and the resulting creations were complex enough that an author would be justified in asking to release/sell them externally.
I think LBP2 straddled the line of creative freedom without too much complexity.

I really miss the "play create share" era of PlayStation games. LittleBigPlanet and ModNationRacers were my jam. I bet they would have been recieved really well if they were released today. It's a shame that most zany customization in online games has been scrapped in lieu of microtransactions.

Making this post has motivated me to dig up my Vita and play some games

Everyone's talking about how vanillaware games need to be ported to PC but I'm still waiting for Muramasa Rebirth to get ported to a more modern console with broader support.

I absolutely love my Vita but It's really a shame a lot of its library isn't available elsewhere.

I was only reminded of the game's existence after seeing the merch on sale on the Bethesda store

Was Doom the Dark Ages any good? Maybe I'm a bit distracted but I dont even remember when it was released, much less any ongoing discussion or hype

It's cool that Mario kart lets you use half a joy con so you can save money and have an excuse to blame your controller when you lose

It's sad that controllers are almost $100 nowadays

But at least 4 player split screen is dead so no need to worry about buying 4

Ammo and dark eco management is annoying as hell. I hate needing to restart multiple times just to collect ammo if I run out and the fact that ammo types were limited in some missions really limited my options. I guess it was a good way to nudge you into using the reccomended weapon(s) though

Orb collection is a massive pain, especially with the permanently missable orbs and no way of tracking them. I had to use an online checklist and notepad to cross them off which was kind of a throwback. I massively prefer indivual level collectable stats like in Jak 1
