I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: an administration (and its supporters) who believe that they are not limited by the rule of law have no moral or philosophical claim to the protection of the rule of law. “The law is whatever we say it is” warrants the same in response.

Most Americans cannot comprehend what is happening because it’s the opposite of what they’ve ever experienced in the US. They assume they’re aren’t happening because the system will protect them.

Finally in a spot with all three of my kids where they are all motivated to learn really interesting shit and they want to learn a lot of it from me. There’s some things I’m not able to teach them, but it’s so fun when I have a skill or knowledge that they are deeply interested in.
