Honestly the idea of being shrunk down and having to deal with friendly (but overwhelming and having fun with it) interns and low-level employees when trying to see if I can get myself un-belittled sounds way more fun than just seeing someone who can actually do something right away.

I've never liked 'toony' as the term for 'nothing to see here' style null.

To me, it carries the connotation that the person so described is an expurgated approximation of something else, rather than a fully realized type for whom sexuality is irrelevant.

This doesn't mean I'm opposed to custody or supervision or what have you. It *does* mean that any custodial system must have the offender's self-actualization as a goal and be run humanely and with the goal of allowing them as much integration with society as is safe for others.

Retribution is utterly without merit. Punishing the guilty is a moral evil /per se/ and any suffering they experience can only be justified in terms of proportionate gain through deterrence and rehabilitation. Justice requires prioritizing a rich life for the guilty as much as protection for others.

I am always amused and delighted at the differences in flavor of null:

In spite of being a Michigander born and raised, my favorite pizza is Chicago stuffed with green olives, feta, pepperoni, and pineapple.

I haven't had Detroit style pizza in over a year in spite of living close enough to the place that invented it to get delivery.
