Great weekend in Pittsburgh, playing with Thomas Nicholas

My friend Thomas Nicholas (American Pie, Rookie of the Year) is signing autographs at Steel City Comic Con in Pittsburgh next weekend. I play bass in his band, TNB, and we're doing a concert at City Winery on Saturday after the con. The set is his originals and Pop Punk covers. Check it out!

I'm not sure. I guess that's what I meant. They were asking for romance, sci-fi, crime.. singular genre.. my story is an embellished first person journal about a musician gushing over a new guitar, while regaling old memories of touring in an indie rock band. No idea what you'd call that?

Slightly less aggressive overview attempt: "On the surface, this is a 12 month tale of adventures with a brand new guitar. However, lurking quietly beneath, is a subset of trials and failures at a successful career in the music industry.. done with love, humor, and just a splash of contempt"

Rate this overview: "A Guitar Called Harry V & The Cover Band Conundrum" is a collection of anecdotes about working entry level in the music business, paired with crude and largely unfair generalizations of the larger cogs that turn the machine.. but with dirty humor and a healthy amount of swearing

Planning on self publishing my book because it doesn't fit neatly into a genre that larger publishing houses are accepting. Not trying to be a radical, it just happens to be the Indie nature in which I've released the albums that inspired many stories in the book. Full circle? #writing #author
