Yes! Thank god! In my leave request, I commented, stating I was told to imput the request the way I did by HR, and listed the dates I would not be in state. On the phone with my manager, she found it and sent it back to HR, so I am crossing fingers that's enough. It's all I have, but it's something

I may be overthinking it, or getting ahead of myself. I do have a clean record as an employee, I've never been on corrective action, I do my job well... I just... they thought they were "fighting" to get me 30 days... and like.. now I am like uhhhhh I said 60?

So on top of all my other anxiety, today (my leave from work started friday) I was messaged by the scheduler and my manager saying I was only approved for half of the time I'll be living overseas...

So I guess if that doesn't get approved, I won't be coming back to that hospital at all...

You and I know more than anyone what it feels like to be overworked and understaffed in a career that holds peoples lives in our hands.

Air traffic control deserves better

I live in the north east USA...

In 9 days I put myself, my aunt, and my 11 month old on an airplane to meet my husband overseas.

I have never felt more frightened.

I shouldn't have to feel frightened.
