Im August 2024 habe ich pers. beim Ordnungsamt angefragt bez. der
Genehmigung eines Infostandes der Omas gegen Rechts am Markt-Freitag zum
Thema "75 Jahre Grundgesetz in Deutschland". Hierzu wurde mir
mitgeteilt, dass an Markttagen...

Wir Omas melden gerne Infostände an Markttagen an. Bad Nauheim hatte uns das nicht genehmigt. Umso mehr irritiert sind wir, dass die Heimat einen Infostand genehmigt bekam. Wir dachten, wir fragen mal nach.

I'm not really sure where the country goes if police start firing on protesters en masse.

The government murdered protesters (and bystanders!) during the Vietnam protests, but the country is more armed and (from my perspective) feels more unstable today.

interesting to note that 400 protesters have monopolized all of LASD’s enforcement power because they tried to help ICE arrest half a dozen guys working at a Home Depot

At the ICE raid and subsequent community resistance in Paramount, California this morning, this skater kid ate dozens of munitions from Border Patrol agents, walked away slowly and flipped them off.

The Trump administration is bypassing state authority by invoking Title 10 of the U.S. Code, a federal power usually reserved for major insurrections. This is a dangerous overreach, and it’s how martial law begins in the so-called land of the free.

Trump is deploying 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles without the governor’s request or consent. Governor Newsom has publicly condemned the move, calling it “purposefully inflammatory.”

Safety in numbers. Cameras up. Eyes open. What they say happened and what actually happened, aren’t always the same. Be the witness. Be the record. Stay safe.

Just like in the parks, safety comes first.
- Stay with your group
- Follow the signs (or in this case, the facts)
- Leave no one behind
- Document everything
- Don’t engage alone

We’ve been warning about fascism for a very, very long time. It’s here. They are trying to deploy the military against their own citizens. Stop looking for heroes and do your part. It’s up to all of us.

They are starting this. Your safety comes first. That doesn’t mean don’t stand up, just make sure the truth is documented before you do.

Es ist bezeichnend, dass ausgerechnet der größte und bevölkerungsreichste Bundesstaat, der 54 Wahlleute (electoral college) für den Präsidentschaftsbewerber der Demokraten entsendet, der erste ist, der in eine Kriegszone verwandelt wird. So ein Zufall.
