Bocchi and Kita Bandai 30 Minute Preference kits. Painted everything except for the flesh parts, guitars were a bit of a challenge and I messed bocchi's les paul up so i've cropped most of it out but I've got another one that I am redoing. #BTR #BocchitheRock #30MP #30MS

This is right near where my family lives, and where I went to college. GA 121 is mostly Oconee County, which has always been a bunch of wealthier rednecks and is also made up partly of south Athens, GA which is liberal as shit. If Rs lost in OCONEE COUNTY, they are in DEEP SHIT nationally. lol

If you have never really checked this band out before, or you are a bit younger and were born after their country radio popularity days, you owe it to yourself to check them out and Raul Malo's solo work.

When he announced he was sick, fans knew this day was probably coming. Now it's here and it sucks worse than I thought it would. I don't usually feel like this when artists I like pass away, but I felt like crying this afternoon.

Songs that made you feel good, or made you feel awful if you were in that mood, featuring one of the most unique voices in all of music. The smooth tenor of Raul Malo. This was music that affected me unlike a lot of other bands that I will tell you are some of my favorites.

a tremendous live band, a catalog of songs that make you want to belt them out at the top of your lungs when you are alone in the car, accordians/horns/guitars and danceable numbers, and good 'ol traditional love songs. A band I would always recommend if someone says they like twang.

They defied any one genre label, although most still considered them a country act they really were more like something from the 50s and 60s, a blend of country/folk/americana/cuban/rock/and I guess...Tex-Mex although that's probably an awful way to describe that sound...

Man, this hurts. Like many others, I became aware of the Mavericks when What a Crying Shame released in 1994. Back then I pretty much despised country radio, but this band was different. I fell in love with this band and followed them for the next 30+ years
