You know, I think it's a genuinely good move to have Temuera Morrison redub Boba Fett in Empire because that's, like, a great and easy touch-up for legit continuity. THE THING IS, however, they could have done it so, so much better because as it stands the effect is amateurish at best

You know what really grinds my gears? When a movie tries to do vintage and still has crystal clear modern audio. You gotta make the movie/show/whatever sound as old as you're making it look or else it's nothing more than just an SFX to me

I hope they go to the nines to make it actually appear and move like a vintage movie than just moving saturation sliders down to zero

The thing about Spider-Man Noir being in black and white is that the color space is only half of it, especially considering the time period and era of filmmaking. Ya gotta have that frame jitter and grain and--I dunno, THOSE filmetic qualities of an OLD movie than just a b&w one
