Oz's ties to insurers may loom over his CMS confirmation hearing - Roll Call Mehmet Oz will likely face questions during his confirmation hearing about his past support of expanding the Medicare Advantage program.

Best known for his time as a TV personality who made a living promoting dubious health claims, Mehmet Oz is now Trump’s nominee to run CMS. His financial ties to an industry he’d be overseeing and past health positions are likely to be a flashpoint at his confirmation hearing tomorrow.

Rep. Al Green censured by House colleagues, sings ‘We Shall Overcome’ - Roll Call The House voted Thursday to censure Texas Rep. Al Green for heckling President Donald Trump during his joint address to Congress this week.

The House voted to censure Rep. Al Green by a 224-198 vote. Ten Democrats voted for the censure, with Green voting “present.”

Censures have historically been rare. But in recent years, it’s become a tool for scoring partisan points.
