I've been playing this wonderful game since 2000 and the energy and excitement around the game competitively has always been strong. It's always been great to be a player and a viewer. Taking inspiration to get better after watching the majors helps keep the game fresh for me.

90s electronica always feels like such a contrast; the media is old but the sound is still so new. I get spooked out listening to early Warp at how it still sounds so alien and fresh.

Going for a long overdue eye test next week. I've been fortunate to have perfect vision (apart from floaters) for almost 50 years but it's recently started to wane; magazines and books are no longer enjoyable. Having larger print would make a muscle-relaxing difference!

Im spending my middle age working hard so I can spend my retirement walking hard (around Cornwall) but I still manage a little time to visit timeless views like this. National Trust definitely has some lovely views in the county.

How do you find the quality in non-black pressings? I have plenty, including transparent, which i find no different in terms of the playback even with my ancient Stanton cart

Gorgeous looking vinyl. From metal to techno (loving Alt Dub and Echospace at the moment) any release is improved with a coloured pressing.

Need to remember that most extremely high tier items are not traded on SCM due to the cap at around £1500. Anything traded for more than that, Valve don't see a penny. This update drove lower priced items up (Valve tax more) and higher priced items down (Valve start to tax) so Valve wins twice.

You don't go through Cornwall to get anywhere else (well maybe the Scilly Isles) so anyone who is here *means to be* here. People who love the place.

How is the event so far? Work and cash flow prevented me attending for the first time this year but I'm hearing from a friend that it's a good event.

I adored the original but lost track over the years of all the follow ups. Which should I watch to continue the storyline and should I avoid any?

Not sure how I feel about detaching the charms from souvenir skins; feels like it devalues the souvenir as...quite literally....a souvenir from a specific major.

Souvenir skins between different majors already feel like they have little differentiation between each other.

I really, really need to upgrade this year so I'll watch when I'm next at my PC. An aging 1060 coaxed to get over 140fps is holding me back. If scan could accept CS2 cases as payment it would be a godsend!!

I wouldn't be surprised if they remove graffiti as it belongs to a historic version of CS and not CS2. My own opinion is that it should stay but I can understand why it would go.

I appreciate that the layout changes are minimal but the visuals...even including the clutter...really enhance the experience in CS2.
