Policies that are supportive of renewable energy are not just climate solutions, they are concrete investments in our communities.

These wind farms were meant to go in Northwest Ohio and would have provided opportunity to many rural communities. Instead, new jobs and millions of dollars and in potential investment were lost.

'25% generation by 2025': Where did Ohio’s Clean Energy Law go? A bipartisan vote in 2008 codified the goal that 25% of energy generated in Ohio would come from renewable sources by 2025. But that number is only at 5% this year. What happened?

In 2008, the State of Ohio set a goal to generate 25% of energy with renewable sources by 2025. Instead, the State has stifled these goals by making it functionally impossible to build wind farms through arbitrary set back requirements.
