I realize Trump was waiting for a good opportunity to pounce, but I still also believe the lack of empathy joke stung a bit.

I think Kimmel's joke struck a nerve with Trump because it proved that he has an issue with showing empathy, something the Democrats have been saying for years.

There was something weird about Trump's announcement. I can't put my finger on it but it just didn't sound right.

Trump and his supporters made such a big deal out of it during his election run that people are now demanding answers. Now Trump has changed his mind. He has no one to thank but himself for making this such a big deal. Well, I guess it backfired on him.

All during his first election, Trump promised to release his taxes. He got elected and then refused. During the second election he promised to release the Epstein files. He got elected and is now refusing to back that. He will say anything to get elected with no follow through.

Kennedy must be fired. People will die (earlier than they should Joni Ernst) because of Sec. Kennedy's decisions.

This was a good ruling. The wrong date should have no bearing on the legitimacy of the ballot. Nobody voting in person has to pass this test. The only thing that has to happen is that it gets there on time.
