You're part of the problem as to why Democrats have approval ratings in the 30s, not a single doubt about that. You'd rather blame everyone else rather than accept the need to reform.

Good, I don't give a shit what you think honestly. You're just picking anything I say to whine like a Little bitch because I dared criticizing your party and its leaders. US politics is truly 2 giant cults. Blue MAGA

I'm not saying that because we need to disrespect the guy. I can't wait to party when he dies. What I'm criticizing is the bullshit delusional attitude of hoping he's dead every time he's not seen in public for 5 minutes.

Are you deadass? Buttigieg was the mayor of some 100k city before running for president and you wouldn't have said anything if I had proposed him. Mandami went from 1% in the polls to being the likely mayor of NYC despite all the shit thrown at him from media and allies and he's the problem

You're literally attacking a strawmen, I never held that beliefs and urged my American friends to vote for her.

"Democracy didn't work" do these people believe in anything?

You're saying this as if Harris has historically has been anything other than committed to the Dems support for Israel. She adopted more favorable stances because that's what the base wanted, let's stop pretending she was anything but pro Israel all her life

02.10.2025 19:30 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Literally everyone recognizes that she would've been largely a continuation of Biden's foreign policy. Continuation doesn't mean necessarily being equal on everything, but to start suggesting that Harris would've been significantly different is an insult honestly

02.10.2025 19:28 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

She was walking a political tightrope? So what? Even her pro Palestinian statements are part of it, yet you insist on treating them as entirely genuine out of convenience.
And also, should I remind you that Josh Shapiro, one of the staunchest Dem Zionists, was for months the top VP candidate?

02.10.2025 19:27 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I feel like I'm going crazy right now: I've never heard anyone treating Harris as a reverse from Biden. She was a member of the administration, it doesn't get more "continuation" than choosing as the candidate a member of your own administration.

02.10.2025 19:24 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Israel and the economy, for sure. I think she was a bad candidate in general, more for where she was coming from than herself being particularly egregious (to me she's perfectly average)

02.10.2025 19:23 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Nah, the truth is that this is a poor attempt to distance herself from her previous statement, after seeing people's reaction to it. She was a continuity candidate who wouldn't have changed much, this is just a fact, because this is who rules the Dem party. A bunch of corrupt centrists

02.10.2025 19:20 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

That her presidency would largely be a continuation of Biden was a universally acknowledged fact, and how weird that you're trying to present the VP as somebody who's going along for the ride.

And I gave you examples lol, you just didn't care.

02.10.2025 19:17 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Honestly, why are you lying? Do you think the party being ruled by centrists like Schumer, Pelosi and Jeffries gives a flying shit about doing any major reform? Have you seen the Project 2029? Your obsession with blaming leftists? How they treat progressives? And you want to tell me they want change

Nobody is pushing anything, but she pushed right on immigration and I feel at this point like your new strategy is gaslighting me. The Biden administration favored restricting asylum requests and increasing border security. Their 2024 bill was harsh on migrants. She would've continued the job

02.10.2025 19:08 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I don't think Biden's administration was particularly bad (aside from the whole supporting genocide thing). The problem is that their main achievements were gradual improvements when they promised a Roosevelt, and didn't do much to bring the reforms that are sorely needed

02.10.2025 19:04 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

The party moving to the center will be the death of it. The future is left wing. This is a statement that is so obvious as to appear self evident

02.10.2025 19:02 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

She said Biden did nothing wrong and parroted Israeli propaganda about the right to defend itself. She called for a ceasefire as the very administration she was part of kept blocking them at the UNSC. She was always, always on the side of Israel, and wouldn't even have stopped the sale of weapons

02.10.2025 18:58 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Dems adopted a staunchly anti-immigrant rhetoric for months in 2024, and she embraced it. Are we deadass rn

02.10.2025 18:57 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I'm sorry but if you're unwilling to accept that Harris's campaign was fundamentally misguided and fundamentally misjudged key issues (immigration, I/P, economy), I don't know what to tell you. She lost against a fascist and underperformed even against local Dems, how's that "remarkably good"?

02.10.2025 18:56 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

And here are again with the "but how dare you ask for perfection". Girl, nobody is asking for perfection, but there's a whole party machine that needs to be reimagined, agenda and priorities that needs to be overhauled, politicians that need to be urgently replaced and so much more.

02.10.2025 18:53 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I'm sorry, but why are you not blaming literally any other group? The party has the lowest approval ratings in its history and your problem are leftists, and only leftists. If this isn't disingenuous behavior

And sorry but no, leftists did not convince the minorities not to vote for her

02.10.2025 18:52 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I can add that on I/P she retained the staunch pro Israel policies of the right wing of the party, and that the entire Dem machine was very dismissive of the economic struggles faced by people. They praised Bidenomics, as poverty was increasing. Definitely not a left wing approach

02.10.2025 18:50 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Immigration? Literally how can we deny this? And I say this as a person who thinks that being hard on mass immigration is an acceptable position, but let's not pretend she didn't move right on that.

Plus, she had an openly nationalist rhetoric AND threw herself on people like the Cheneys
