The concert was yesterday. It was as fantastic as I expected. Steve Hackett is a magician on guitar. His band is great.
Among other they did Supper’s Ready. The whole 25 minute version 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I read that both Paul and John liked the Revolver album in Mono. The stereo version however they weren’t happy with. Something like “this is not the rock and roll album we recorded”

John Lennon, hearing “Coming Up” — particularly the upbeat studio version by Paul’s one-man-band project — inspired him. He said something like: “Fuck it, I’m going to get the guitar out,” which led to him writing and recording songs that would end up on the Double Fantasy album later that year.

After abandoning Uriah Heep for almost half a century, I finally re-listened to this album just recently . This and Salisbury rates as my top two Heep albums. Salisbury being No 1. 👌🏻👏🏻😁

It depends on my state of mind, but this is among my top three favourite Pink Floyd albums

You’re fortunate to get to see many movies that are not available in Europe. At least not in Norway. Like you I’m a die hard Beatles blood fan, but my appetite for John and Yoko is not there any more. More of Paul would be better. I’m ambivalent as to these 4 movies will be of interest. But I hope 😁
