Happy Friday folks! Welp, it's snowing/sleeting here & hovering around -1C. We've just taken our Xmas decorations down & cleaned, so that's my exercise for the day I think. I've just done some paperwork but I've postponed non-essential tasks as I'm out of spoons & have work this eve. Resting now 👍

Someone told me lately "Bluesky is just like Twitter." I argued that was untrue on the basis that last time I had a Twitter account most times I got a new follower their bio said "single & looking for fun" & here when I get a new follower it tends to say something like "professor of rare moths".

Good! I'm so glad you're not as badly affected by asthma. I'm having to mask outside now it's so cold & unfortunately have a bunch of triggers I have to avoid. Hopefully all of us will have well-controlled asthma whatever meds regime we're on x

Thanks Alex! I was put on Fostair last year & reacted badly to it- made my asthma a lot worse 😔 Thankfully Symbicort has agreed with me. And yes! I agree about needing extras! I did ask the nurse but she said as I have 2 prescribed at a time I'd be OK, BUT I have my meds review next wk & will ask x

I'm just back from my annual asthma check. After a thorough discussion with the asthma nurse I'm going to be starting the MART regime with the Symbicort inhaler I'm already using. Anyone on here got experience with MART? I'd love to know how you're finding it.

I'm glad you did your laundry run OK! Yeah, it's dried up here - at least for the moment - and it's a bit brighter too. Hope it stays that way as I've got to go out at 2pm to run a couple of errands & get to my nurse appt for 240 for my asthma checkup.

As Hubby & I have been into Doctor Who since Forever, "Brain of Morbius" is a running joke in our house - any time there's an unexpected mass of bubbles in the washing machine/washing up bowl/ boiling over saucepan that's what it's called 😁

My current ones are a mix of from Wilkinsons (RIP) and Asda At Home.

I made it through work! Had to explain a ton of British cultural references to an overseas student as part of one class but we got there - TBH I enjoy that part of my job and it's what my first teaching post was all about - but it can be tiring these days because of low spoonage. I'm resting now 👍
