The MAGA leaders who claim to love America do not understand or believe in anything that makes this country great.

They are opposed to freedom of speech and competitive elections. They don’t love Americans or our ideals. They want to be kings in a country founded on revolution.

For MAGA, the ideals of freedom and democracy are just ad copy—a way to sell exploitation by a corrupt few. They don’t believe in any of our founding documents or ideals, or the right of the people to govern ourselves.

Note to editors and producers: If an executive order demands action that is illegal or outside of the president’s authority, then you should not describe it as ordering something. You should say it seeks to achieve some outcome and then note it is illegal or beyond the power of the president.

People generally liked the New Deal and the Great Society, right up until it started helping black people. The Civil Rights Act codified that help, and Conservatives and white Americans have been trying to return us to “the good times” (segregation and legalized racism) ever since.
