I just beat Cold Steel III and how am I supposed to go to bed for work after that?
How am I supposed to go to work IN THE MORNING after that?
All I want to do is start Cold Steel IV immediately but the responsible adult in me says to wait until Friday.

Hoping they can finish remastering the first trilogy by the time I finish CS4, Reverie, and Horizon so that I can go back and play those too. 6/6

Itβs perfectly enjoyable to drop into the middle of a story, just use context clues and pay attention. Whatever you donβt know, if you care enough you can go back - Like I did. Playing the older games now to me is like playing prequels and Iβm loving it! -5/x

I try not to read too much that is in-depth about it in order to avoid spoilers, but based on what little I have read since I began the saga it seems like the problem is the same one I often have with people in movies and TV - If they arenβt spoon fed everything theyβre automatically frustrated. 4/x

β¦. I found it plenty welcoming. Or at least COMPELLING. Compelling enough that having entered the series knowing nothing about it and only buying it on a lark, that I was so taken in I was moved to play everythingβ¦. -3/x

(I watched an 8 hour YouTube recap of the first trilogy, and have finished Daybreak 2, Zero, Azure, CS1, CS2, and I am 140 hours into CS3 and probably will wrap it up with the long weekend and move on to CS4) - 2/x

Also, the guy who killed someone dropped an F bomb. So the only difference between him and Frey is killing someone.

It is impossible to overstate the degree to which the entire national political media's coverage of the 2024 presidential campaign, especially once Harris won the nomination, was deeply, fundamentally, shamefully unserious about the stakes & the candidates.

βhaving to mask made me go fashβ is so common and itβs just baffling
I mean, yes, it was annoying to wear one all the time? it also wasnβt that big a deal? if, today, someone asks me to put a mask on I go βokβ and put one on
and yet so many people treat it as a life-ruining imposition

Itβs not just unfair to me as a trans woman, itβs unfair to me as a teacher if every single student has a hecklerβs veto over every lecture, discussion section, and assignment. The incentive structure youβre creating is for everyone to submit βMAGAβ written in crayon and dare me not to give As.

And to the extent something like it would ever exist, they might be beside themselves to learn that En Vogue sang a whole hit song in the early 90s about how likely they would be to win it.

Oversight Dems have launched the Immigration Enforcement Dashboard to record possible misconduct during immigration operations by the Trump Administration.
It archives harmful actions against U.S. citizens and immigrants nationwide so we can hold this Administration accountable.
