I’m in that 50%+ category and my rent has gone up 40% since 2020. I just wish other cities counselors and mayors gave a crap about us. Beaverton leadership has been crickets on everything as usual.

Being stuck in very red Ohio a few days every year really makes it quite blatant how 1/3 of the country got so stupid, they are in an echo chamber of stupid where the stupidest ideas get trumpeted the loudest. And they get stupider every year.

Dog city. Way more dogs in places. You don’t see many cats even though most people have one because of the indoor-cat only culture. Seattle is a cat city. Lots of store cats. L.A. is for sure dog city. Dogs everywhere, very cat phobic vibes.

My neighbors toddler is being a toddler and considering they are upstanding Mormons who never let their kids be heard. this battle of wills has been so fun to overhear. Hope that poor kid never starts “keeping sweet”
