Journey is one of my all time favorite games, so excited to play this one!

Whenever i leave for work I've started laying out the kitties favorite blanket on the recliner, then mike sends me updates like this and tells me they lay there all day 💕😺

I finally got around to playing a short hike! What a sweet wholesome game! With a lovely soundtrack Kinda made me want to go outside and touch grass. I also love that i could finish it in a single afternoon, more games should be shorter

Shout out to my two wonderful familiars who have been with me through it all! I love them so much 💕

We finished split fiction last night! It was a really solid game, i did like the fantasy parts a bit more, they felt more interesting whereas it felt like the sci-fi stories dragged on a bit too long. And i wish there was more downtime, like the snowglobe in it takes two. Just mho! Overall very fun!

But yeah! Go play nine sols! It's a really solid game.

The characters and their dialog were really well written, i loved how Yi's character growth developed over the course of the game with his interactions with shuanshuan! The true ending was so good! But also sad! My favorite boss was probably lady ethereal🦋 her fight was so cool.

-But! The game also has an excellent accessibility difficulty slider if you just want to experience the game's story. I also really appreciated there wasn't an excessive amount of backtracking, if you're thorough on your first run of the map the cleanup to get everything at the end won't take long

First up is Nine Sols! What a great game! If you're a fan of hollow knight or metroidvanias in general i would recommend checking this out! Just be warned it does have a few gorey scenes if that's not your thing, and it is a fairly difficult game! You have to be able to parry to get anywhere‐

I think it would be fun to make a thread and talk about the games I've been playing! I'll try to keep it mostly spoiler free, just a space to get my thoughts out there! 🎮
