I got a new Menu workflow running. Itll basically be, Disclaimers (legal stuff and epilepsy), Intro Video, a Pre Menu and then the actual menu

TBF the theme does slap. I always hated Godots standard UI and it's always made me move over to UE instead.

I personally made myself some bat scripts that do stuff with ffmpeg (convert from wav to MP3, upscale / downscale videos, and so on).

Next preview will be amazing! I finally got the music selection to work, I got player saving (of loadout and music selection) and the interaction system will be reworked to look cleaner.

doing some R&D on adding baked AO to godot lightmaps

Added a Loadout screen today (almost working too although ill need a major revamp for it to work.), I recorded a version yesterday but it sucked so ill record another one tomorrow!

Maybe in UI, then sure that rule could apply. But if you mean a general game engine then id say you need more than 10k hours.

I feel like that rule is just "wrong" in a way, just because youve used a program for a long time doesnt mean you know it. I could spend 10.000 hours inside Godots or Unitys UI Editor and it wouldnt make me an expert at Unity or Godot since I wouldnt know anything else.
