I agree with you. I pick what parts to follow. I don’t follow the Bible. Lots of weird stuff in there. But if I try to follow what was recorded as what Jesus said or did, it’s effective altruism. And, I really do feel God’s presence in my life. I may be delusional. C Nats piss me off though.

FWIW my great uncle F. Donald Phillips, was a judge at Nuremberg. We all need to read what they wrote. Thousands of pages mainly to try to start deprogramming ordinary Germans. So relevant today.

I’ve looked Jay in the eyes. He’s younger than I’d like&more progressive than this 65yo white grandma is, but he’s got the fire. He can protect us until we flip the house next year. This is really the most important race. They’ll come after him first but he must win. He has my unqualified support.

At risk at least 4 hospitals& many nursing homes in Virginia. We elect our entire statehouse in November, then we have at least 2 flippable seats in federal house next year. We must vote for the democrats to save our Medicaid in Virginia. Too progressive or too old school? Vote for them anyway.

Very serious question: any advice for the Virginia elections? Polls say we’re way ahead, but we’ve been there before. Specifically, Spanberger, Lakshmi, Jones? We, and the country, really needs them to win.

We can have an AG that fights for what’s best for all Virginians, not what’s best for MAGA. He can join and file lawsuits against federal overreach. The state AG has never been more important. He’s up for this fight. I looked him in the eyes recently and he understands the assignment.

Because Virginia elected a trumper. But we can change that this November if we work at it. @abigailspanberger.com can be our next governor in about a hundred days.

This Virginia election is vital. If this democrat becomes attorney general, we’ll have another one to join & file lawsuits, & defend the rule of law. We can create a bubble in Virginia that will hold until the mid-terms, when Virginia then saves the rest of the country by flipping seats.

Yes! We have to get past the fact that all who want to preserve democracy do not have the same opinion on everything. Let’s win elections this year and next, set up a government, then argue about policy, shall we please? No election where you are? Support the Virginia democrats.
