After reviewing nearly 200 applications from prospective grad students and postdocs over the past few months for a couple different 🧪⚒️ postings, here are some tips, at least as they apply to North American positions. I hope they help future applicants. Share with your networks. 🧵

As you know, Hiragino Mincho is kept updating. But I realized the latest version looks quite different from the previous one. Now pretty much resembles Haranoaji Mincho (which is also a nice font).

A paper critiquing post-publication peer review has numerous made-up references, including a @nature.com article falsely attributed to our Ivan Oransky.

わたしも洗剤や柔軟剤は無香料に変えました。比較的安価で手に入りやすいのはサラヤ、シャボン玉、ミヨシあたり。
香害は誰もが当事者。個人の問題じゃなくて、社会の問題だと思う
