My planned birthday trip in October slowly fell apart into not happening at all, so Husbando and I made a whirlwind trip to Carowinds to at least do a part of it, albeit a month late.

Got my 100th credit on Fury! Then we did our first mountain coasters as a quick stop on the way home.

Oh, it’s gonna be a fun day in the FFXIV fandom.

Semi-impromptu KI Haunt visit last night. Busy, so no rides, but found at least one new nifty lantern activation spot.

And while I knew about the thing at the fountain on the hour, I had not heard about the Festhaus clock. That was a cool thing to stumble upon!

Brought my lantern and wanted to see if the Eyeful Tower activation point was still there.

It was, so went to go try it out. Felt someone behind me, thought it was him, so started excitedly chattering about the eyes.

Also did Haunt at Kings Island last night and got a good scare I’m still (jokingly!) mad at my Husbando over… 😂

…anyhoo, One Battle After Another was a lot of fun. Got to see it in IMAX. Do recommend.

I think this is the most on top of current movies I’ve been in many years. Mostly due to discovering a drive-in that’s both dangerously close and affordable.
