So at the moment, the server is more or less patreon exclusive (it's one of the places where patrons can access early builds). I've been playing with the idea of making a public version, but it's still not something I've fully figured out yet

Still Alive! So... There's been a lot of chatter going on around Itch lately, and an NSFW ban brought about by Mastercard and Visa threatening to stop processing payments. I wasn't going to say anything about it,....

Technically yeah. It's limited, but you can access any level files you make and share them, and anyone who downloads those files would be able to open them if they add them to the right folder.

It currently is, yeah. For patreon it's like early access, and I'm wanting to get a proper demo of the game ready soon to announce that it's being worked on again. But of course I want that demo to have levels already to show of the mechanics that I'm still working on, and you can see the issue lol

Currently wishing I had an army of level designers at my side so I could just make fun game mechanics and not have to worry about using them myself, lol.

I have been told that it is indeed pretty fun! At least for the game mechanics anyway, still gotta figure out the "fun level design" part, lol

A neat advantage about how I made it work is that it even kinda works at an angle.
The disadvantage is that I spent like half the week fixing a physics bug to make this thing work right, lol.

Kinda annoyed by how slow progress is going atm, lemme know if you guys have any ideas to speed things up

Been a bit since I've made a comic strip. So boop.

I never watched doctor who (first I've heard of them), but I guess it is kinda similar, lol. It's moreso magic than technology, the belt powered by a gem that acts like a belt buckle and she mostly wears it just cause she doesn't want anyone seeing how fat she really is.

I can't speak for newer artists, but I feel like just having this 3D reference where you can just move the camera however you like is super helpful, especially for something you'd otherwise never see IRL. And you don't need to be experienced in blender to make shapes like this either.

But honestly a cheat code for all of that might just be to mess around with spheres in blender, lol.

Case and point, this is a first draft of a trickier shape I wanted for Angi. I remade it in blender in like 10 minutes cause it was tricky, and with that reference my second draft came out like this

People sometimes ask how to draw body inflation well. I've noticed that it's something many struggle with, cause it's so different from drawing a normal character.
I could go on about what makes for appealing shapes, how important it is to consider depth and 3D, etc. (and maybe one day I will)...
