An olive / muted green hoodie with a blonde woman embroidered on it. The woman is in a Santa style dress with boots and a Santa cap. She's holding an oversized candy cane and kinda looks like she wants to smack you with it. In her other hand she's holding a large bag open with presents spilling out.

A closer look at the hoodie from before, but zoomed in and there's a plastic Santa toy on the shoulder.

The original artwork by Richard Sala that the hoodie is based on. (It's the woman in the Santa Dress described earlier.)

Here's a holiday hoodie I made for myself. 60k stitches with various applique fabrics. Original artist is Richard Sala.

It's slightly open revealing a bright purple light reflecting off aluminum foil. It looks very shiny.

Close up of a large illuminated Jack-o-Latern. Classic design of 2 triangle eyes and triangle nose. Mouth is a zig-zag grin. It looks appropriate for the headless horseman if he was in need.

After handing out candy, I dressed up and took awards to houses in the area that go hard for #Halloween. I kept the beanies in the large pot and would pull them out to present to the winners. I was going for a "Pulp Fiction briefcase" effect and was happy with the results. Continued below...

It really made me feel like The Great Pumpkin. Like I had found the most sincere house celebrating surrounded by darkened windows. As I continued my trek, I saw some kids close and ominously pointed in the house's direction. I hope they got to hand out some candy. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! 🎃

Then the sidewalks started again, I see their house and they are out! The couple had a table set up and as I approached I heard an excited "Go get the candy!". I presented the beanie and as I walked away heard a VERY happy "WE WON AN AWARD!!!" continued...

This is my 3rd year doing this so I tried to expand my walking area a bit to spread the magic. It lead to my favorite interaction of the night. I was off the beaten path. No kids, no lights, no sidewalks, was in a horror movie, would they even be out, was it a waste going this far? continued...

Six of the beanies from before arranged in two columns on leaves and sticks outside. The way the overcast light interacts with the color and tulle of the ghosts make them look washed out/electric/extra spooky.

Adult sized ghost costume. A poncho of light green/blue fleece (same as the beanie ghost) with more fleece draped over the head. There's a hole with tulle over it and about half a head above that there are two LED lights as "eyes" under the fleece in a similar green/blue color.

Large classic style jack-o-lantern. Triangle eyes, nose, with a zig-zag mouth. Charlie Brown approved.

After I handed out candy, I went to 6 houses in the area that were REALLY celebrating Halloween. I'd hand them the beanie with the note, give a little bow, and silently walk away. It's a fun way to spread some 31st magic. This is year 2, guess that makes it a tradition. Bonus pumpkin 🎃

Black beanie that has "The Grand Pumpkin's badge of (cream color) Halloween (multi color orange yellow)" a blue ribbon style object where the badge is replaced with an orange jack o lanten and the ribbons are purple, '23. Machine embroidered. Laying on leaves.

After my candy ran out, I dressed up and went to the 6 most decorated houses in my area. (Within a reasonable walking distance) It was like reverse trick or treating. I'd give them a beanie with the note taped on it. Halloween magic innit. We both get fun stories and a hat. Bonus: Pumpkin
