And don’t get me started on parent fundraising in public schools in Chicago, it cements inequality into the public school system

I despise them. Those schools are primarily another way to divert resources from “lower performing” schools and also creates a very obvious class system within public school, because most kids in those schools come from families who have the time and money to get their kids in there.

I feel like we live parallel, this is my reality too lately.
