More book censorship coming to Alberta. The 4 books in this article are awesome graphic novels. The Education Minister is raising alarm over nothing. Some teens read books that depict sex. Nothing new here. All this is is a way to remove 2SLGBTIA+ books.

Do you remember those atmospheric 80s children’s fantasy movies with the puppet creatures that got weirdly dark and made you say “wait is this even for kids?” and were never critically acclaimed or very successful in theatres but later would become cult classics? 👀

This little Canadian book has been on quite the journey. If you're not familiar with Pride Puppy, I highly highly recommend it. Perfect for classrooms, libraries, bedtime etc. It's wholesome, bright, colourful, and fun!

I wish I knew how to convince teenage boys/young men is how little of the world actually requires or even invites the hypermisogynist "tough guy" aesthetic

I love the X-Men! But I’d be sad if they are at the centre of pop culture in 10 years. I hope they are remembered, revered, and their influence felt in new and original stories being told.
