A Spoiler-laden review of Everyone’s New Obsession; HBO’s Task

This is incredibly saddening to me on a personal level

I hide it well, but deeply stored behind my highfalutin masquerede of television snobbery is my love of cooking shows; which have always been my comfort watch. The Kitchen is/was my favorite one, ever

Kinda waiting for the streaming world to catch up, but my complete take on Task is that the characters, cinematography and action sequences were all so good that it's sort of baffling they didn't work harder on the (kind of a mess) story. Regardless, solid series

B+ to A-

Task is fun, and the characters are absolutely wonderful, and I'm looking forward to the finale, but god, the plotholes...this guy could get through them with ease

It’s essentially an emergency that you see One Battle After Another in the cinema immediately. Sean Penn will win an Oscar & it has the best car chase in many years. And those aren’t in the top 3 best things about the film. Jesus shitting Christ.
