Does anyone have a manual for this thing? I think the check engine light has been on for a while now and I can't get it to turn off.

Character creation fits on one page, since most of your features are detailed on other cards, while the Classes just describe which cards you can choose from.

A tabletop RPG based on a mall. Only a small portion is visible to players through the fog.

Knowing my play testers aren't on Bsky, I don't have to worry about spoilers for them. Huge dungeon crawl map where they will be exploring a post-apocalyptic, monster infested mall, full of treasure, mimics, optional objectives, and mini-bosses.

Just watched a nice rom-com and now I got a sad.

A trading card depicting a penguin with a sword, shield, and knight helmet. It reads: Penguin Knight Friendly 25 HP, 6 attack, 2 defense, 4 AC, 1 range The reward box reads: "You get nothing. You monster." The effect text reads: When adjacent to Penguin Knight, you may give it equipment cards from your hand. If you do, it permanently gains 1 attack/defense/ac for each. On it's turn, Penguin Knight approaches and attacks the nearest hostile creature or boss. At the end of it's turns, Penguin Knight restores 2 HP to itself.

New rule for #MidasSystem :

Protect the Penguin at all costs.

Give him your weapons and armor. Heal him.
Buff him.
Feed him kills.
Take a bullet for him.

This is the way.

Something that's been on my mind for a while:

Fat jokes about Trump really don't help. It's low hanging fruit and he's done plenty to be mocked for without it.

All it does is hurt overweight people. It hurts when every third joke is about his body or eating habits, and he clearly doesn't care.

I literally found out about this morning's news from a meme video. No headlines in my other social feeds, just insane.

I don't know enough about the situation in Venezuela to have an informed opinion yet, but sneak attack bombing and abducting leaders doesn't make one look like the good guy.

Ability cards are now horizontal too, just for consistency. Only treasures and consumables are going to be vertical, to distinguish them as cards that go in the player's hand rather than sit in the play zones.

Working currently on building up an mp3 library to cut the cord on Spotify, but figured there was no harm sharing.

Been gone for a few weeks dealing with the real world. My grandmother passed and it's been a stressful time all around. Trying to get back into my online spaces to feel normal again.

In lighter news, I may finally be getting my a college degree. Not the one I originally aimed for, but I'll take it.

Well... this didn't wind up working out. Recorded the first episode...
The Game + my Vtuber + a recording software = too much for my PC and the whole first episode's recording came out at 5FPS. Just gonna play and enjoy this one to myself I guess.

Gonna start playing #Dispatch tonight and recording my first experiences with it for Youtube. I've seen like, half of the first epsidoe, but that was enough to sell me and I haven't looked past that.

Going to make all the cards in RGB for now as it's still an all-digital game... we'll cross the CMYK bridge if we ever get there.

Looking side-by-side, I see the colors on the new one are much more muted. I was setting up the new template in 300 DPI with CMYK-colors for printing. RGB really makes a big difference, anyone know a good way to compensate?

Realization: I had been using Japanese TCG ratios instead of MtG/Standard like I thought. Which means I need to redo most of the cards. At least I realized before I got too much farther in. Reworking the rations also means another pass at card design. Left is old, right is new. Any thoughts? #MIDAS

Doing new tweaks to the Vtuber model, saw Vroid added tails and decided screw it, we're keeping the ears now.

Still gotta design some new t-shirts, but we'll keep the S4G one saved for next year's
