You only need to look at a map of Europe from 1968 and compare to today to see how much things change over just a relatively short period of time, like the splitting up of Yugoslavia, and Belarus, Ukraine and the Baltics breaking off from Russia. Same could be said for 1916 to 1968.

There are so many people, myself included, who rely on that monthly social security check (which incidentally we have paid into all of our working lives) who will go absolutely bonkers. We are already seeing the tip of the iceberg with this happening now at the town hall meetings.

There is a LOT of stuff going on right now that is causing a lot of concern, but I really think that THIS will be the proverbial straw that “breaks the camel’s back.”

Can DOGE look into how much money we are spending on Kristi Noem’s costumes and photo ops?

At breakfast this morning. Plate full with scrambled eggs, hash brown, bacon and fried potatoes too. Two different servers ask if I want an omelette. Nope, I’m good.

Sit down at a table and a different server walks up to pour coffee. 1/2

In other news, I actually got to use my expensive Spanish degree today, and I haven’t even made it to Spain yet.

Was in the hotel lobby getting some coffee and a man walked up next to me.

Man: Hola.

Me: Hola. ¿Como esta?

That was it. That was the entire conversation.
