I just wish these ignorant people knew more about the control Putin has in Russian athletes, especially ones who have deep roots into it (his mother USSR olympian). I have personal knowledge of what happens when you're in deep bc of roots; his family were Russian athletes (mother the most close relative). Under the USSR, Putin took these same rules to appear perfect by controlling who has spotlight/publicity. His family's money and lives have depended on this.
